Description

The CHI 2009 conference will take place in Boston from 4th to 9th april. The HCI Workgroup will present three Short Papers with the titles Squidy: A Zoomable Design Environment for Natural User Interfaces; Enhancing Input Device Evaluation: Longitudinal Approaches und Adaptive Pointing - Implicit Gain Adaptation for Absolute Pointing Devices. Mr. Joachim Bieg will present his phd topic Gaze-Augmented Manual Interaction at the Doctoral Consortium. Additionally two Position Papers for the workshops Best Practices in Longitudinal Research and Multitouch and Surface Computing were accepted. In both workshops members of the HCI Workgroup will participate.
