Problem

More and more developing and producing companies attach great importance to the systematized optimization of the user-friendliness of their products; in particular, the efficient operation of products while at the same time ensuring satisfaction with the product is recognized as a decisive success factor in the market launch. However, implementing this realization is made difficult for many companies due to the lack of an overview of international standards and the approaches or methods for optimizing user-friendliness.

Goals

The goal of the project is to establish a network of usability laboratories from the Alpenrhein-Bodensee-Hochrhein region. Among other things, emphasis is placed on a systematized service offer of the network partners, a bindingly defined quality standard as well as concepts for the development of methods in the network. In addition, a publicly accessible platform is to be developed on which companies can inform themselves about evaluation approaches and methods of the network, about seminar offers as well as about return on investment models.
